Purchase a water conservation license plate. Ten years in the making and it’s now off the drawing board. It’s possible to go out and get your very own!
Thanks to Public Utilities Operations Manager for the City of Wichita Falls, Daniel Nix. He has collaborated with numerous groups to take his concept and make it a reality. It reads, “Save Water, Texas!” and can help motivate others to follow through with the slogan.
The best part is that $22 out of the $30 fee for that custom plate goes back into the Texas Water Works Association (TAWWA) scholarship fund.
You can purchase the plates for passenger vehicles, motorcycles, and trailers by going online to:
conservetexaswater.org or simply order your copy by stopping in at your local county tax office.
Forget those stickers on your bumper, display your message and put the funds to good use.
